OIO was a very unique challenge for me. For one, I was primarily used to swinging in during tech week, using the rep plot, and making it work. For OIO, I was there for two months, working the whole time. Another challenge was that the space was outdoors, in Arkansas. So me and the lighting director would have to come to campus after the sun went down and work through the night to program.
It was a huge learning experience for me, and I absolutely adored programming three shows. Nothing feels quite as good as having your fingers run over the board at light speed.
